Ebony Educational Consult is an online educational platform that provides video courses and academic study materials across a wide range of subjects including Engineering, Medicine, Law, Arts, Management, Sciences, and Education. Our Platform is designed specifically to serve students seeking affordable, high-quality academic resources.
Our Platform is operated and managed online. All communications and transactions are conducted digitally through our website at ebonyeducationalconsult.com.
2. Eligibility
To use our Platform, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
You must be at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use our Platform.
You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when registering your account.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Nigerian law.
You must not have been previously suspended or removed from our Platform for violation of these Terms.
By registering an account, you confirm that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
To access our courses and materials, you are required to create an account on our Platform. When registering, you agree to:

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to exploit offers, refunds, or promotions is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.
We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our discretion, particularly where we believe our Terms are being violated.
4. Courses and Content
Ebony Educational Consult offers video courses and downloadable study materials across a range of academic subjects. The following terms apply to all content available on our Platform:
All course contents — including video lessons, notes, quizzes, and study materials — is the intellectual property of Ebony Educational Consult.
Upon purchasing a course, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and view the course content for your own personal educational use only.
You may not download, copy, reproduce, distribute, share, resell, broadcast, or use any course content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Screen recording, unauthorised screenshots, or any attempt to extract or duplicate course content is strictly prohibited.
Course content is subject to change. We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time to maintain accuracy and quality.
Any violation of these content terms may result in immediate account termination and legal action where applicable.
5. Payments and Pricing
All course purchases on our Platform are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN ₦) through Paystack, our trusted third-party payment processor. The following payment terms apply:
All prices displayed on our Platform are in Nigerian Naira and are inclusive of any applicable fees.
Payment must be made in full before access to any course or paid material is granted.
We accept payments via Nigerian debit/credit cards, bank transfer, and USSD through Paystack.
Ebony Educational Consult does not store your card details. All payment data is handled securely by Paystack in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
Prices are subject to change at any time. However, any price change will not affect purchases already completed.
Promotional prices and discounts are valid only for the period specified and cannot be applied retroactively.
If your payment fails or is declined, your course enrolment will not be activated. Please contact your bank or Paystack support if you experience payment difficulties.
6. Refund Policy
We want every student to be satisfied with their purchase. Our refund policy is as follows:
No refunds will be issued after purchase.
7. Certificates of Completion
Upon successfully completing all lessons and assessments within a course, students are eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion from Ebony Educational Consult. The following conditions apply:
Certificates are issued digitally and can be downloaded from your student dashboard.
Certificates confirm completion of the course only. They do not constitute a formal academic qualification, degree, or professional certification unless explicitly stated.
Certificates remain the property of Ebony Educational Consult and are issued to the registered account holder only.
Any attempt to falsify, alter, or misrepresent a certificate issued by us is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
8. Student Conduct
By using our Platform, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and responsible manner. You must not:
Use our Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable Nigerian law or regulation.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our Platform, server, or database.
Introduce any virus, malware, or harmful code to our Platform.
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or interact with our Platform without our written permission.
Impersonate any person, instructor, or Ebony Educational Consult staff member.
Resell or sublicense access to any course or content purchased on our Platform.
Violation of any of the above conduct rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund, and we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies where appropriate.
9. Instructor Content
Some courses on our Platform may be created by independent instructors. In such cases:
Instructors are responsible for ensuring that their course content is accurate, original, and does not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
Ebony Educational Consult does not independently verify all instructor content, though we reserve the right to review and remove any content that violates our standards or these Terms.
Instructor opinions expressed in courses do not necessarily represent the views of Ebony Educational Consult.

10. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, course materials, videos, text, and other elements of the Ebony Educational Consult Platform are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and are either owned by or licensed to Ebony Educational Consult.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your own educational purposes only. The name “Ebony Educational Consult,” our logo, and our tagline “Where Every Student Finds What They Need” are the exclusive property of Ebony Educational Consult and may not be used without our prior written permission.
11. Availability and Platform Changes
We strive to keep our Platform available at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform. We may, at any time and without prior notice:

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from viruses or harmful components.
Course content is provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or other expert advice.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Ebony Educational Consult shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our Platform or its content, including but not limited to:
Loss of academic grades, examination results, or professional opportunities.
Loss of data or content.
Any errors or inaccuracies in course content.
Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the course or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Privacy

15. Third-Party Services
Our Platform integrates with third-party services to provide certain features, including:
Paystack — for payment processing. By making a payment on our Platform, you also agree to Paystack’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
YouTube / Video hosting platforms — for delivering video course content. Content delivery is subject to the respective platform’s terms of service.
Hostinger — our web hosting provider, which stores Platform data on secure servers.
We are not responsible for the practices, content, or policies of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of all third-party services you interact with through our Platform.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through direct communication with our support team.
If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.
